Things have changed so much in the lifestyle and profession that I have come to love and revere. Calls from prospective clients obviously looking for sex in addition to their fetish kink. But to catch up, the dungeon is doing great! After the location change we are flourishing and growing at exponential rates and are adding a number of new Dominas to the Maison Noir roster very soon, Look forward to new youtube clips of training classes.

Personally, I am just trying to keep up but am planning a photoshoot very soon,

Updates and more

Well it's been a while but a lot has happened in the last few months. Due to reason's outside of My control I have moved Maison Noir from its former location within Bizarre Times. I was very reticent to do so but shit happens and you have to move on. The upside is that I have partnered up with Domina Shannon and now am enjoy a fabulous space in Montrose that rivals any other play space in town. While there are certain aspects from the commercial space that I miss but now we have the added discretion of a residential location. But I have learned that life is full of give and take. On a more personal note , My first real play space in Houston was just a block over so it really gives Me a sense of coming home. In addition Domina Shannon and I get along well and compliment each others individual styles. Talk about Ivory and Ebony, LOL.

Who is in Control?

I saw this as a title of a posting on Fetlife today. My first question here would be if you are pursuing a D/s relationship, why would that even be a question? Obviously, the Dominant is in control or it is not a D/s relationship. And if so, then why would you even have a question about the dynamics of this relationship. Again, obviously you would be seeking a relationship in which (as the submissive) you would be assuming the submissive role. If you are doing so then your partner would be the one taking control. If they are not then they are not Dominant or at the very least not the Dominant for you. It is as simple as that.

Dominance in My opinion is an inherent trait. One either has it or they don'.t. No fetish attire or fancy play space can substitute for the simple presence of a self confidant and skilled Dominant. One either feels that they are being taken control of or not.

I don't know if it is a symptom of the whole "no winners or losers" virus gaining foot in mainstream society, but I suspect it is. If there are no winners or losers in the games of life then in D/s then it would follow there is not someone taking control and someone relinquishing that control. And to that I cry bullshit. If you encounter someone who claims to be Dominant but can't seem to make any decisions or make you feel safe and free to relinquish control. Then you are not with a Dominant. There I said it. They are not what they are projecting themselves to be. Leave.

That may not fit into the PC constraints we exist under today but those are the facts folks.

So now that I got that off My chest, My dungeon had undergone some changes. Location, in Montrose now. So nestled in the midst of alternative Houston's upscale bohemians we have even better accommodations (Full bath w shower) as well as a more discreet locale.

9/11 Where were you?

I will preface this be stating that I had a slave visiting overnight and it was the next morning. Now this particular slave I would probably describe as dramatic and given to exaggeration, had been calling to me and prompting me to come watch the news on TV .


And then I saw.......


This week I have watched the TV specials about the anniversary of the event that
changed our lives. I realized I had never truly processed the emotions and
feelings of witnessing the most horrific event I had ever encountered in my
adult life. The image of the second plane crashing into the Twin Towers on TV.

It wasn't until recently watching a memorial show that I recalled the images
that will be forever etched into my memories. The instant empathy for the poor
souls condemned to such a death and the great sorrow for their abrupt and
traumatic demise.

It still brings tears to my eyes now when I recall seeing the footage and
reports of the incredible heroism and selfless acts that define that day to me
far more than the hideous criminal depravity that prompted it.

On this day, let's come together and recall and reflect on those that were lost
and how they impacted our lives and how they continue to affect us. Also, what
it all means to us as a culture, a people, a nation to have undergone such
tragedy and survived to continue having endured the kind of injury this day
dealt to each and everyone of us.

When is outing ok?

This just a question that I replied to in a Fetlife group. I find it interesting that there are those that seem to hold cyber discretion as a great responsibility while others choose to use this noble tenant as a licence to troll the net and weave their lies and mislead, manipulate and hoodwink others. Personally I think they should all be outed, within the confines of the community. Why is someone who displays no regard or respect  for the relationships they commit themselves to not held to a higher standard in this community?

We state relationship statuses on social profiles but what about those that dishonor those privileged positions?  What are the proper channels to cry foul?

There arent any. So dearies, I say. Say it loud and out the bitches for the lame asses they are......


If anyone goes looking they will have your forewarning.

After all, we are all our brother's keeper as well as being the keepers of cyber trusts.
